Do you have a favorite quote? No regrets, no excuses.
What’s your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby without a doubt would be building bicycles. I’ve been doing it since I was 6 years old and formerly worked as a bicycle mechanic before I started working at Blaisdell’s Business Products.
What is one thing about you that many people do not know? I currently have 27 tattoos and I’ve designed over 95% of them.
What was your favorite band 10 years ago? The same one that it is now, Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are in tough competition with Foo Fighters and The Beatles.
Aside from picking up delivery routes, what are you doing to pass the time during the shelter-in-place order? I’ve been playing some baseball and spending a lot more time with my hobby, biking.
Most people are binge-watching tv shows during this time. Are you guilty of it? If so, which show? No, I don’t have cable television… which is a good thing or else I would never get anything done. When I want a relaxing evening, I just pull out some old DVDs and watch the classics.
Who is your favorite coworker and why? Chris Paasch. He’s our warehouse manager and we make each other laugh. Our conversations always starts my days out on the right foot and I get to wrap up my workday with one more laugh before I head home.
Who is your favorite customer and why? Honestly everyone on my route is too nice and enjoyable to talk to. Santa Rita Jail comes to mind. They are usually my first stop. They always make me laugh because the first thing they do when I arrive is ask where the Ghirardelli chocolate squares are.
How do you like your coffee? Green Mountain French Vanilla or Hazlenut. I add some cream and “wannabe” sugar like Sweet ‘N Low because I’m a diabetic.
If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why? Randomness at Its Finest because I’ve had many people say I’m very random.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose? My father, Romulo. He’s been through alot and he’s retired now. Lucky guy. He gets to take care of my mom and I’ve always looked up to him so why not take a day to walk in his shoes?
If you were an office supply, which one would you be? A refillable pen because they are always needed, people are always looking for them and when they run out, they can be refilled, thus making me last forever.
