Do you have a favorite charity you wish more people knew about? I really enjoy supporting Lend A Hand Foundation and never knew about it until I started working for this company. It’s great what they do for the kids in the Bay Area. In general, I’ve always had a passion for supporting organizations that help out our local youth.

Do you have a favorite quote? Think before you act. My daddy use to tell me that all the time and now I live by it.

What’s your favorite hobby? I really like to fix stuff and be a handyman. On weekends, I do construction work, paint, lay cement sidewalks down, and help my friends and family with home remodeling projects.

What is one thing about you that many people do not know? I like to watch romance movies. I secretly love the movie Titanic, but don’t share that with my coworkers!

Aside from picking up delivery routes, what are you doing to pass the time during the shelter-in-place order? I’ve really enjoyed having things closed as I’ve taken all this down time and reconnected with my son on a different level. We spend alot more quality time hanging out, going to the parks, reflecting on life and just enjoying the simple things. I also make it a daily ritual to check in on my mom and make sure she is doing ok.

Who is your favorite coworker and why? Amanda from our marketing department, because she is always nice and sweet to me.

Who is your favorite customer and why? Oh ok… tough question. If I had to pick one, it would be Helen at Earlens Corporation in Menlo Park. Helen is always waiting on me for the candy. She’s very nice and it’s always a good pick-me-up when I get to stop there on my route.

If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would you choose and why? Bill Gates. It would be fun to spend a day in his shoes and more importantly, spend his money! Not only for the simple pleasures, but find ways to give back to others and make an impact in the community like he does. I would definitely help out my friends and family as much as I could.

What was your first job? I was a truck driver for a company called ATD, Assured Transportation and Delivery. It was a freight company that was located in the Bay Area but it went out of business. I worked there for a little over 2 years.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert at something, what would it be? I’d like to be an expert at consoling people because I have a passion for helping others and which I could resolve more individuals’ pain and discomfort.

If you were an office supply, which one would you be and why? I would be a stapler because it gets a lot of attention and is used throughout the day.
